This conference discusses the ethos of programming and what drives a venue to program the artists that they do – whether it’s motivated by creating a signature for what the venue stands for, inspired by a venue’s position as a tastemaker that can build new audiences for an artist, or whether the decisions must be revenue driven and designed to cater to audiences, ticket sales or market development.
